Internship Description
The Marketing Intern will work alongside the Marketing Team help share the Bowen story across multiple audiences and platforms. The and to support Bowen teams with their marketing and communication needs. The Marketing Intern should be passionate about learning the Bowen brand and exploring new ways of telling our story to clients, partners, potential new employees, and current Bowen team members. Work assignments include, but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
- Support teams in the development of proposals, and execution plans
- Work collaboratively with the Business Development, Recruitment and other departments to understand selling and communications challenges, and subsequently develop / execute strategies to overcome them
- Update CRM system (Salesforce) with marketing assets and generate reports
- Assist with development of the Bowen Digest (weekly internal company communication)
- Update resumes, one-pagers, and other marketing assets
- Assist with owner and partner pre-qualifications as needed
- Take on additional marketing tasks or projects for other departments as needed
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Marketing or Business Bachelor’s degree program; Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year of college preferred
- Basic understanding of marketing principles
- Attention to detail and design
- Ability to multitask and seek out solutions independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
With headquarters located on the north side of Indianapolis, Bowen is an employee-owned construction company with a small but mighty marketing team. The Marketing Internship position offers a wide, hands-on insight into the marketing functions of our company. The position offers access to and training in Salesforce and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), as well as opportunity to grow in photography/videography skills. Interested students should be eager to learn and grow, possess humility, and work well within teams.
