As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:

  • Apply a comprehensive knowledge of management and organizational techniques, systems and procedures to perform a wide variety of analytical studies and projects.
  • Provide advice and assistance to senior leadership and program officials on the application of management policies and procedures.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement performance measures to evaluate program productivity for a major organizational segment of an agency, such as a region office, center, or major field installation.
  • Work with management in areas such as implementing reorganizations, improving employee performance and morale, realigning duties and responsibilities, and devising new methods for conducting evaluations.
  • Provide operating officials with information for making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of program operations and management.
  • Recommend the addition, expansion, or modification of management services or to respond to new legislative or program initiatives, changes in policy or funding availability.
  • Analyze and evaluate the management practices and methods, and administrative operations of assigned areas.
  • Define goals to be met on major program issues, recommend a course of action, and implement the course of action chosen for various administrative areas of the organization.
