Strategio – Junior IT Consultant – Hybrid, DMV Area, USA

The Opportunity:

We understand that job hunting can be stressful, especially when most companies prioritize years of corporate experience. Strategio offers a different path. You’ll represent our brand and kickstart your career by being part of an exclusive, early-career opportunity.

Our entry requirements focus entirely on your educational foundation, engineering mindset, and raw motivation. Because this is an early-career talent initiative, candidates will likely not have prior working experience in this role (and we prefer it that way.)

To bridge the gap, we provide a fully funded training program led by industry experts. This rigorous program is designed to equip you for immediate success with a prominent financial institution in the DMV area. Our quality bar is exceptionally high, and our selection process is strict, but for the right candidates, this program results in a stable, long-term career opportunity.

If you are a quick learner who thrives on challenges, solves complex problems with an engineering mindset, and possesses standout soft skills, you have the potential to excel as a Strategio Consultant.

As a Strategio Junior IT Consultant:

Once you successfully complete our intensive training program, you will launch your long-term career with our client. In this role, you will focus on building, testing, and deploying scalable software solutions and applications. You will apply clean code principles, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and solve complex technical challenges to support critical enterprise applications.

Entry Requirements:

  • Education: A recently completed Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Computer Science strongly preferred).
  • Core Technical Fundamentals: Strong mastery of foundational Computer Science principles, including Data Structures, Algorithms, System Design and Operations, and APIs. We need candidates who understand the full end-to-end picture of how components interconnect to power modern software and web applications.
  • Experience: Zero (0) years of enterprise or corporate experience required.
  • Location: Must be residing in or willing to work in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area.
  • Mindset / Traits: Hackathon mentality; Relentless Growth Mindset; Hyper-adaptability & Resilience; Proactive builder who has a bias for action; Relentless Problem-Solving Grit and Exceptional communicator.
