We’re building a new standard for dentistry — clinical excellence, AI-enabled systems, and a concierge-level patient experience. We hire people who expect more from themselves and the team around them, and we back them with real mentorship, competitive pay, and a clear path to grow.

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid Insurance Analyst role based in the Oak Brook area in Illinois. The revenue cycle is where great care becomes a great business. This is the seat that owns it — and the first step on a defined path to leading it

What you’ll do:

  • Track, post, adjust, and follow up on all practice claims, including denials and appeals
  • Manage patient accounts receivable
  • Build, negotiate, and monitor fee schedules and payer credentialing
  • Verify insurance for new and returning patients, and handle all inbound insurance calls and emails
  • Maintain all claims and patient accounts with weekly reporting
  • Support patient confirmations and schedule management
  • Analyze payer reimbursement and provide insight on individual plans

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a similar discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to review data, identify trends, and solve complex insurance-related issues.
  • Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures, preferably in dental or healthcare insurance, including claims processing and benefits verification.
  • Foundational understanding of finance concepts relevant to revenue cycle, reimbursements, and account reconciliation.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with practice management or insurance systems and common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, email, documentation tools).
  • Relevant experience in dental, medical, or health insurance analysis, billing, or claims processing is preferred.
  • Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, insurers, and patients.

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors.  The salary range for this position is $70,000 – $90,000, with full benefits.

Thank you for considering Flossophy. If you expect more from your work and the people around you, we’d love to meet you.
