Licensed or Licensed-eligible individual as a LPC or LCSW needed for the position of COUNSELOR at the Laurels Recovery Center, a 16-bed residential crisis stabilization and detoxification program located in Lebanon, Virginia. This position provides counseling and treatment services to assist individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders to recover from crisis episodes. Responsibilities include providing clinical services (assessment, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, etc.) to individuals in the program. This position requires dedication to a recovery model for persons at risk of psychiatric hospitalization and/or relapse. This position will require flexible work hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays. Position Requirements: Incumbent must possess a Master’s degree in a human services field AND be licensed or licensed-eligible, approved by the appropriate licensing authority. Valid driver’s license and good driving record also required. Candidate must pass all CMCSB background screenings.
Hiring Range: Master’s: $41,616 – $62,424 annual salary. Licensed Eligible: $43,680 – $65,520 annual salary. Licensed: $46,800 – $70,200 annual salary. (Offers for candidates with more than 20 years of relevant experience may exceed the listed hiring range. Cumberland will only engage in compensation discussions and negotiations after an initial offer of employment is extended.)
