Collabera is hiring AI/ML Support Engineers for an exciting full-time opportunity supporting one of the world’s leading technology companies.
This role is designed for technical professionals who want to build their careers at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, cloud technology, and technical problem-solving.
Selected candidates will begin with 5–6 weeks of remote training to prepare them for success in the role. Upon successful completion of training, candidates will be required to relocate to Baton Rouge, Louisiana for full-time employment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an AI/ML Support Engineer, you’ll work with modern AI and machine learning technologies while helping troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to AI/ML platforms, cloud environments, model deployment, data pipelines, and emerging Generative AI technologies.
You’ll be responsible for investigating technical issues, identifying root causes, analyzing code and system behavior, and helping ensure AI/ML solutions perform effectively.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for candidates with a strong technical foundation who are naturally curious, analytical, and excited about building a career in AI and machine learning.
Ideal candidates will have experience or knowledge in areas including:
- AI & Machine Learning: Machine learning concepts, model development, deployment, data analysis, and data pipelines
- Generative AI: Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI technologies, and modern AI applications
- Cloud Technologies: Experience with platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure
- Google Cloud AI: Exposure to technologies such as Vertex AI, Dialogflow, or Gemini is a plus
- Programming: Experience reading and troubleshooting code in languages such as Python, Java, C, C++, Go, JavaScript, or Shell
- AI/ML Frameworks: Familiarity with technologies such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or Ray
- AI Infrastructure: Understanding of GPUs, TPUs, containers, virtualization, operating systems, and system administration
- Model Architecture: Familiarity with concepts such as transformers, encoders, decoders, and machine learning APIs
Experience
Candidates should have:
2+ years of experience reading or troubleshooting code in a general-purpose programming language or working with system design
1+ years of experience with machine learning model development and/or deployment
2+ years of experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex technical issues
Experience working within a technical support environment, including an understanding of support methodologies, case lifecycles, root-cause analysis, and breaking complex problems into actionable solutions
Training & Relocation
This position begins with 5-6 weeks of remote training.
Upon successful completion of training, candidates must be prepared to work in office in Baton Rouge, LA, where the position will be based full time.
