The City of Bozeman is now accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant II who will provide a variety of complex clerical and confidential administrative support duties for the Transportation & Engineering Department including but not limited to: scheduling appointments, organizing meetings and conferences, process invoices, reservations, registrations, permits, draft memorandums, Board support, and serving as the point of contact for visitors and callers.

Wage: 23.63 – 25.82 per hour depending on experience

Bargaining Unit: Montana Federation of Public Employees

Fair Labor Standards Act Status: Non-exempt

Work Week: Typically, Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 5:00pm, working (4) 10-hour shifts.

 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; and
  • Some (1 year) clerical experience; or 
  • Any combination of experience and training which provides the equivalent scope of knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work.
