Position Summary

LADACIN Network is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of the Schroth School in Ocean Township, NJ.

The Administrative Assistant plays an important role in supporting school operations through administrative, clerical, and organizational support. This position assists with correspondence, reports, attendance tracking, staff timekeeping, purchasing, record maintenance, and general office operations while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, coordinate, and maintain correspondence, reports, records, and other school documentation.

Maintain student, staff, and program files in accordance with agency procedures and regulatory requirements.

Track attendance, staff time records, and other required program data.

Prepare reports, requisitions, and supporting documentation as directed.

Assist with maintaining databases and electronic record systems.

Order and maintain office supplies and coordinate equipment repairs as needed.

Record and relay telephone messages in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain a professional and welcoming office environment for staff, families, students, and visitors.

Provide administrative support to school leadership and program staff.

Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Attend meetings and trainings as required.

Maintain confidentiality of student and employee information.

Comply with all agency policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous administrative, clerical, or office support experience preferred.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and general computer applications.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree or college coursework preferred.

Experience working in an educational, healthcare, nonprofit, or human services setting preferred.

Familiarity with student records, attendance tracking, or educational office procedures preferred.
