Administrative Assistant (Entry-Level)

Location: Ankeny, IA (Onsite)

Are you a recent graduate looking to begin your career in administration, business operations, or office management? We’re seeking a motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to support department leaders with scheduling, travel coordination, event planning, and day-to-day administrative operations.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain professional experience in a fast-paced corporate environment while working alongside experienced leaders and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate meeting logistics.
  • Organize travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, transportation, and itineraries.
  • Assist with expense reports, purchase requests, and administrative documentation.
  • Prepare meeting materials, presentations, and supporting documents.
  • Coordinate team meetings, customer visits, and company events.
  • Arrange event logistics, including meeting rooms, catering, lodging, and communications.
  • Maintain accurate records while handling confidential information professionally.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and pay close attention to detail.
  • Professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship, campus leadership, or administrative experience.
  • Experience coordinating events or managing schedules.
  • Customer service or office support experience.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
