The M.A.T. offers professional development courses that cover a broad range of educational issues, theories, and methods, all leading to student teaching clinical placements and preparation for NJ state certification in the initial certification program. Several certification tracks are available including elementary (grades K-6), secondary (grades 7-12), and subject specific programs for grades K-12 (music, art, Spanish, and Physical Education/Health). Additionally, a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TSD) or English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement can be added to these programs.
