Monmouth University is a private 501(c)(3) organization and is non-partisan. The purpose of this policy is to set forth guidelines regarding campaign-related activities in order to avoid potential entanglements of the University and its employees in political campaigns. Penalties for improper campaign activity can include loss of tax-exempt status, federal or state government lawsuits, audits, and investigations.
Any questions regarding campaign-related activities should be directed to the Office of the General Counsel at Extension 3598.
