Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (AΦΑ) is the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African-American men, founded on December 4, 1906, at Cornell University. It is dedicated to developing leaders, promoting brotherhood, and academic excellence while providing service and advocacy for communities. The fraternity’s core values are “manly deeds,” scholarship, and love for all mankind.
