The Center Professional Development in Nursing and Health (CPDNH) is part of the Marjorie K. Unterberg School of Nursing and Health Studies at Monmouth University. Our beautiful campus is located in West Long Branch, NJ, less than one mile from the beach. Our mission is to provide programs and activities that support the professional development of nurses and healthcare providers. By providing quality continuing education, we strive to “support the provision of quality of healthcare within local or global practice environments.” (ANA’s Scope and Standards of Practice for Nursing Professional Development, 2010 pg 9). The goal of the CPDNH is to support lifelong learning, continuing competence and to support inter-professional collaboration.
The Center for Professional Development in Nursing and Health at Monmouth University is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by New Jersey State Nurses Association, an accredited approver, by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
