Multidisciplinary Poster Expo – All Schools, Departments and Programs

Members of the 2023 Student Scholarship Committee representing each of Monmouth University’s Schools selected approximately 10 posters per school to represent the diversity, range and quality of research and scholarship done by our students. These posters will remain on display throughout the week.

School of Humanities and Social Sciences – Communication – “We see others not as they are, but as we are”: Reflections on identity from an intercultural perspective

Students from CO226: Intercultural Communication will lead a discussion on identity and cultural values within U.S. culture. After framing the concepts, students will explore specific identities, such as race/ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and religion from a contemporary lens, and consider how one’s identity and larger cultural values inform our perceptions and cultural lens.

Continuing a 24-year tradition to honor our faculty, The MU Faculty Author Reception is an annual event held during the Spring Semester sponsored by the Provost’s Office and the Library to acknowledge and celebrate our MU book/article/journal authors and the 2 winners of the Student Research Awards, one GR and one UG.
