These loans are available from private lenders and are a viable option for students who are either ineligible to borrow through the Direct Loan program or who have exhausted their eligibility for Direct Loan funding.

Students interested in borrowing a Direct PLUS Loan must complete the Request Process and PLUS application. To be eligible, students have to meet a series of general requirements.

The US Department of Health and Human Services has made funding available to the University to loan to master’s and doctoral degree students who intend to work as full-time nursing faculty. Students must meet specific eligibility requirements.
