    Do you write poetry? Have you considered writing or translating poetry? Do you love language and its ability to engage in meaningful exploration? Monmouth University and the Long Branch Arts Council invite you to a series of workshops in poetry, lyrical essay, and translation of poetry; readings by acclaimed writers; lunch & discussion, and a reading by registered participants.

    Monmouth University and the Long Branch Arts Council will co-sponsor an event with keynote presenters Kim Addonizio and Ron Mitchell.

    The day will consist of readings by nationally known poets, some of whom will conduct poetry workshops for participants. The keynote readers will be Pulitzer Prize winner Stephen Dunn and Cave Canem Fellow Rachel Eliza Griffiths. Stephen Dunn was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in Poetry for Different Hours.
