Why Did You Become a Math/Stats Major?
I loved my Calculus 2 class freshmen year of college, knew I wanted to explore the math field more. When I transferred to Monmouth University, I added the Statistics concentration because of how applicable it would be in the workforce.
What Are Your Plans for Using Math/Stats After Graduation?
I will begin working at NJM as an analyst where I can use what I learned at Monmouth every day on the job.
Advice for Incoming Students?
- Don’t view difficult courses as an excuse to complain but instead view them as an opportunity to learn and grow in the field.
- Talk to your professors, they want to see you succeed.
