The Site Coordinator is a full-time position, based at a school site, responsible for the daily operation of the afterschool and/or summer youth program, managing part-time staff, collaborating with our partner school, and implementing daily activities at a school-based program. The program serves elementary-aged and middle-school children. Duties include coordinating daily attendance, hiring and supervising of part-time staff, managing program flow and structure, planning and monitoring of programs, data collection and reporting, ensuring programming meets our student educational goals, maintaining school and parent relationships, and ensuring that grant-funded programs meet all objectives.

There is no relocation benefit associated with this position. Applicants must be able to commute to the program location within the city of Tampa, FL

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children and youth in group settings; ability to supervise and engage diverse age groups of students from elementary through high school age
  • Demonstrated youth development program coordination, curriculum planning, and activity facilitation
  • CPR, AED and first aid certified within first 90 days
  • Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to hire and supervise staff, coordinate scheduling, and oversee program logistics
  • Familiarity with afterschool education and program principles
  • Experience with data collection, program evaluation, and reporting; comfortable working with families and school partners
