Position Overview:

We are seeking highly motivated and ambitious Wealth Management Business Development Interns to enroll in our program. This sales internship presents an exciting opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in the wealth management industry and contribute to the growth of our client base. You will focus on new business development strategies to attract high-net-worth clients.

You will learn the basics of personal financial planning and the various products and services associated. Interns will develop strong communication skills when engaging with prospective clients and gaining valuable experience in sales and marketing.

Additionally, you will be sponsored for the SEC SIE examination and Kaplan exam prep classes and study materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Outbound proactive calling to warm and cold prospective clients.
  • Assist in identifying potential high-net-worth clients and affluent prospects.
  • Conduct market research to identify target demographics and industries.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement new business development strategies.
  • Support prospect outreach and engagement through various communication channels.
  • Create marketing materials and content to showcase our wealth management services.
  • Maintain records of prospecting and outreach efforts.
  • Learn about industry regulations and compliance in wealth management.

Qualifications:

  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong interest in wealth management, financial services sales, and new business development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and persistent in client outreach.
  • Familiarity with marketing concepts and strategies.
  • Basic knowledge of financial concepts and investment principles is a plus.
