We are looking for skilled Medical Assistants to travel with us around MI, OH, and various other states in the U.S. to conduct annual physicals for manufacturing, corporate, and public sector clients. This is a GREAT opportunity for students to get hands-on patient experience. Our visits include but are not limited to:

  • Point of Care (finger-poke) blood work for lipids, glucose and A1c
  • Basic vitals collection
  • Flu shot administration
  • EKGs
  • EMR data entry
  • Consults for a patient by a licensed medical provider

* This is a per diem/event contingent role and candidates must reside in the state of Michigan*

Requirements

  • Available to travel for multiple days/nights out of state or out of the general area (Lodging and travel costs are covered)
  • Ability to travel with their own reliable transportation
  • Experience taking basic vitals

Preferences

  • Phlebotomy experience is a plus!
  • Experience conducting point-of-care (finger-poke) blood work
  • Experience using an EMR platform
  • Experience placing EKG leads
  • Experience administering Influenza vaccines
