We are looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Dance Fitness Instructor to lead engaging and high-energy fitness classes for K–8 students through fun, movement-based activities and routines.

 

This opportunity is open to individuals with a strong background in dance fitness, group fitness, movement instruction, or related fields who enjoy working with young learners. Whether you are a fitness instructor, dancer, choreographer, student, or working professional, we welcome individuals who are passionate about helping students stay active, confident, and motivated through movement.

 

No formal teaching credential required. We will provide general program goals and structure—you bring your energy, creativity, and passion for leading engaging fitness experiences.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead engaging dance fitness classes for students in grades K–8
  • Teach age-appropriate movement routines focused on fitness, coordination, rhythm, and fun
  • Incorporate upbeat music and interactive activities to keep students motivated and active
  • Follow provided program goals and class structure
  • Promote physical wellness, confidence, teamwork, and self-expression
  • Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
  • Adapt activities to different age groups and fitness levels
  • Encourage participation and positive student engagement
  • Prepare students for informal performances or showcases if applicable
  • Communicate professionally with staff and support student progress

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Background in dance fitness, group fitness, dance, Zumba, aerobics, cheer, or related movement programs
  • Comfortable teaching children (K–8) with varying skill levels and energy levels
  • Energetic, positive, and engaging teaching style
  • Ability to lead groups confidently and keep students motivated
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
  • Ability to manage group activities effectively
  • Prior teaching or fitness instruction experience is a plus but not required
