Job Description:

Morgan Properties is seeking a Summer Analyst to join the Acquisitions and Capital Markets team for the Summer of 2028. The Summer Analyst will shadow members of the investment team in their daily work and attend weekly pipeline meetings as well as assist in evaluating new investment opportunities and managing current assets under management. Interns are paired up with mentors who provide coaching and feedback to help interns learn investing skills through every stage of the investment cycle. The internship concludes with a final project in which interns evaluate an investment opportunity individually and present to Investment Committee. This internship offers an opportunity for a strong candidate to gain immediate deal experience and exposure to a world-class network of investment professionals.

 

Eligibility: Undergraduate students graduating between May 2029 and December 2029.

 

Summer Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Playing a key supporting role in analyzing new investment opportunities
  • Conducting a range of quantitative and qualitative analyses (e.g., market analyses, financial modeling, real estate valuations, etc.)
  • Analyzing and monitoring the performance of existing investments
  • Assisting with the preparation of investment proposals and presentations

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong GPA from a top-tier university (preferably a business major with an emphasis in finance or real estate)
  • Keen interest in real estate
  • Outstanding quantitative skills, including advanced Excel skills
  • Financial modeling, finance, and accounting skills, with superior attention to detail
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong work ethic
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively, independently, and professionally in a world-class investment organization
  • Undergraduate student with an anticipated graduation date of 2029
