Many capable people face the “experience paradox”: employers want experience, but gaining it often depends on someone giving you a first opportunity. GlowUp ACS is a nonprofit that helps emerging professionals bridge that gap through meaningful, hands-on opportunities to develop practical skills, contribute to real projects, and gain experience they can apply throughout their careers.
We’re currently rebuilding after funding changes required us to scale back some of our programming. That makes this a unique time to join GlowUp ACS. Associate Interns can contribute directly to the systems, projects, and programs supporting our next stage of growth while gaining firsthand experience working within a small nonprofit where their contributions can have a visible impact.
Responsibilities
- Help plan and schedule social media content across platforms.
- Create visuals, short videos, and stories using Canva, Adobe tools, or similar.
- Monitor trends and contribute ideas for new campaigns and content series.
- Track engagement metrics and summarize performance insights.
- Support community engagement through thoughtful replies and interaction.
What You’ll Need
- Interest in social media, content creation, or digital storytelling.
- Familiarity with current social media platforms and trends.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Reliable computer/laptop, stable Wi-Fi, and a webcam/microphone.
