What You’ll Be Doing: Joining a Political Action Committee

As a Public Relations Manager Interm, you will serve as a core contributor to our political messaging and media strategy. You will drive content creation across traditional and digital channels by drafting press materials, shaping blog content, and executing rapid response initiatives to ensure our core message resonates effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Press and Media Outreach: Draft press releases, talking points, and media kits while maintaining targeted media lists and tracking daily coverage.
  • Rapid Response & News Tracking: Monitor breaking political developments, flag relevant news, and assist in fast-paced campaign communications.
  • Content Creation: Write compelling blog posts, articles, and media briefing materials under senior leadership guidance.
  • Cross-Team Strategy & Editing: Fact check and proofread all materials while coordinating with digital and field teams to ensure consistent campaign messaging.

 

Qualifications

  • Exception written and verbal communication skills tailored for political or public affairs audiences.
  • Strong interest in current affairs, campaign strategy, and modern media relations.
  • Proven ability to conduct rapid research, fact-check information, and monitor fast-moving news cycles.
  • High level of organization with experience managing databases, press archives, or publishing schedules.
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently in a remote setup while collaborating effectively across departments.
