What You’ll Be Doing: Joining a Political Action Committee
As a Public Relations Intern intern, you will help shape the public narrative and media presence of our PAC. New hires will receive comprehensive training, and all experience levels are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft press releases, media alerts, and strategic pitch letters.
- Monitor, track, and archive daily media coverage and political news mentions.
- Maintain and update media contact databases and press lists.
- Research industry trends, current political events, and relevant journalists.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating public relations events and advocacy campaigns
Qualifications
- All experience levels welcome; introductory training is provided.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of the current media and political landscape.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
