Our client, a dynamic and growing communications firm, is seeking a Public Relations Associate to join their Dallas-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional looking to grow into a strategic, client-facing role while gaining hands-on experience across a variety of industries.

This position offers exposure to integrated communications, including media relations, content creation, and digital strategy, with a clear path for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support media relations initiatives, including pitching, press outreach, and media list development
  • Develop and edit high-quality content (press releases, social media, website copy, thought leadership)
  • Assist in executing social media campaigns and strategies
  • Contribute to client accounts and internal communications efforts
  • Conduct research, track media coverage, and monitor industry trends
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver successful communications programs
  • Build skills and take on increasing ownership of projects over time

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, or related field
  • Agency or professional services experience strongly preferred

Core Skills

  • Excellent writing and editing skills across multiple formats
  • Experience with social media content development and strategy
  • Working knowledge of media relations practices
  • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint required)
  • Experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop preferred)
