The Physical Therapy Assistant assists in the provision of physical therapy service provided the service is rendered under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administering treatment programs designed by and under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, monitoring patients’ progress and response to treatment, reporting deviations from the plan and goals to the Physical Therapist.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
- New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant License – New Mexico Physical Therapy Board upon hire,
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Neonatal Therapist (CCH acute only): Degree from an accredited program.
- 1 year Experience in rehabilitation.
