Physical Therapist, Early Intervention

Status: Part-time, less than 20 hours per week
Schedule: Monday – Friday, flexible hours based on referral needs
Location: Dauphin and York-Adams Counties (must be willing to travel within these areas)
Sign-on Bonus: $1,000

What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 2 to 5 years of related experience
• OR Master’s degree in a related discipline with 0 to 2 years of related experience
• Pennsylvania state licensure in Physical Therapy (or eligible for licensure)
• Eligible for PA Promise Enrollment
• Not on CMS Exclusion List
• Valid driver’s license with at least 6 months of driving experience
• Access to a vehicle with valid insurance, registration, and inspection
• Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Preferred: Knowledge of adaptive seating and positioning for children

As a Physical Therapist in Early Intervention, you’ll support infants and toddlers (birth to age three) and their families by promoting mobility, strength, and developmental progress. You’ll partner with caregivers to create practical, family-centered strategies that help children build skills and reach important milestones.

What You’ll Do:
• Support the development of goals, therapy activities, and ways to track progress based on the child’s Evaluation Report (ER), Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), and the family’s goals
• Provide session notes and other required documentation for quarterly and yearly reviews
• Offer guidance and practical strategies to families and caregivers to help their child meet IFSP goals during community-based therapy sessions and encourage caregivers to actively take part in sessions
• Help manage physical therapy services by following regulations, supporting financial processes, and working with community partners
