Job Description

Restore Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. As a PTA at Restore Therapy, you will play a vital role in providing hands-on therapy services to clients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to help clients improve functional abilities.
  • Document client progress and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to modify treatment plans based on client needs and progress.
  • Support clients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities.
  • Educate clients and their families on home exercise programs and self-management strategies.
  • Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in clinical practice and documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other relevant activities.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting
  • Current or Pending New York State Physical Therapist Assistant license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Passion for helping others and making a positive impact
