Compensation
- Starting salary range: $53,000–$65,000

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant License
- Current CPR Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Virginia Massage Therapy License
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics
- Experience with manual therapy techniques
- Interest in concussion management and sports rehabilitation
- Dry needling certification or willingness to pursue advanced training
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Therapy Network is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians while making a meaningful impact on the lives of patients throughout our community.
As a PTA, you will work under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist to help patients achieve their goals, improve function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy. You will be part of a collaborative team that values clinical excellence, customer service, and professional growth.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have a passion for hands-on patient care and a desire to continue developing their clinical skills. A massage therapy license is highly valued and allows candidates to bring additional manual therapy expertise to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and therapeutic activities as directed
- Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising therapist
- Educate patients regarding home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
- Maintain a positive and professional patient experience
- Collaborate with therapists, assistants, technicians, and administrative staff to ensure exceptional patient care
