Physical Therapist – Early Childhood Intervention (ECI)

Are you passionate about pediatric therapy and early development? Join our Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) team and work directly with infants and toddlers (birth to age 3) who are developmentally delayed or medically at risk.

This is a community-based position where you’ll partner with families, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and help children build the foundation for lifelong success.

What You’ll Do

Provide motor therapy services in home and community settings

Conduct developmental screenings and evaluations

Assist in developing individualized treatment plans

Collaborate with families and team members

Travel locally to serve families

Maintain confidentiality and procedural safeguard standards

Qualifications

Education (Required):

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Master of Physical Therapy (MPT), or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited institution.

Licensure (Required):

Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners

Valid Texas Driver’s License

Insurable driving record

Certifications (Required upon hire):

CPR

First Aid

Defensive Driving

Experience (Preferred):

One (1) year working with infants, toddlers (birth–3), and/or preschool-aged children

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 pounds

Frequent walking, bending, and floor activities

Driving between service locations

Effective communication and fine motor dexterity

Compensation

Salary is negotiable and based on qualifications and experience.
