Job Description

Restore Therapy is seeking Physical Therapists (PT/DPT) to join our dynamic team. As a PT/DPT at Restore Therapy, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients achieve their optimal functional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and functional abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on client assessments, goals, and evidence-based practice.
  • Implement appropriate physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, functional abilities, and promote independence.
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate clients and their families on exercises, home exercise programs, and injury prevention techniques.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
  • Supervise PTAs as assigned in accordance with New York State regulations.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in clinical practice and documentation.
  • Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy practice and participate in professional development activities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client evaluations, progress notes, and billing information.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
  • Current or Pending New York State Physical Therapist license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Passion for helping others and making a positive impact
