Position Overview

Ready Set Grow is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team. We are currently hiring for our Monroe, Morganville, and Princeton locations. This position is ideal for clinicians who enjoy working with children and are looking for flexible after-school and/or weekend hours.

While outpatient pediatric experience is preferred, we provide mentoring and support to help therapists continue developing their pediatric clinical skills.

Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services to children with a variety of developmental, sensory, motor, and functional needs.

Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.

Collaborate with families and caregivers to support carryover of skills outside of therapy sessions.

Complete documentation and treatment notes in a timely manner.

Communicate effectively with team members and other professionals involved in the child’s care.

Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with state licensure requirements.

Qualifications

For Occupational Therapists:

Current New Jersey Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure).

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

For Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants:

Current New Jersey COTA license (or eligibility for licensure).

Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with children in an outpatient pediatric, school, early intervention, or related setting.

Knowledge of sensory processing, fine motor development, self-care skills, and pediatric treatment approaches.

Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, and other pediatric diagnoses.
