As a Patient Solutions Advocate, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding customer service and support to patients navigating their healthcare journey. Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the office
  • Confirm patient equipment needs
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Collect and update patient information in the electronic medical records system
  • Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems such as Brightree
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with medical billing and coding processes is a plus
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
