Initial Role: Financial Advisor / Financial Professional

Are you a high-performing professional ready to accelerate your career into leadership and management? New York Life’s Partner-Track: Accelerated Path to Management Program is designed for experienced leaders, sales professionals, and entrepreneurs who want to build a successful advisory practice first—and then transition into management with the backing of a Fortune 100 company with over 180 years of financial strength.

 

About the Program

This is a structured, career-defining pathway. You will begin as a Financial Advisor, gaining hands-on experience in client development, sales, and relationship management. Once performance and licensing milestones are met, you will transition into a six-month intensive management training program, preparing you to recruit, coach, and lead your own team of financial professionals.

 

Key Responsibilities

Phase 1 – Financial Advisor (Initial Track):

Build and manage a client base

Deliver holistic financial solutions to individuals, families, and small businesses

Complete licensing and production requirements

Develop strong business development and marketing skills

Phase 2 – Management & Partner Track:

Recruit, train, and develop your own team of financial professionals

Coach agents toward performance and career growth

Establish and lead a high-performance team culture

Drive long-term growth and community impact

 

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who bring experience, leadership, and ambition, including:

MBA or equivalent advanced degree, or

3+ years of sales experience, or

2+ years of management or business ownership experience

 

Additional Requirements / Milestones:

Life & Health License (or willingness to obtain)

Completion of 30 paid cases (Life, LTC, IDI, or Annuities)

Successful completion of SIE, Series 6 or 7, and Series 63 exams

Compensation & Benefits

Earning potential: $60,000 – $150,000+ (performance-based)
