The Media Research Center’s paid internship is the premier program for students looking to advance their career in conservative media. Interns work alongside industry professionals to play an active role in accomplishing the MRC’s mission: to expose and neutralize left-wing media bias. 

As a NewsBusters intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to one of the nation’s most widely read conservative blogs, NewsBusters. Interns will be assigned a daily beat of liberal TV shows and print/online outlets to monitor for political bias. They will be expected to craft blogs designed to get the maximum amount of exposure possible.

Qualifications of a NewsBusters intern:

  • Ability to present ideas concisely and clearly in writing
  • Ability to perform qualitative and quantitative research
  • Desire to combat media bias and communicate truth to news consumers
  • Ability to meet deadlines
