Salary Grade: Hourly 18 | H-18

Position Summary: Master Mechanic to perform mechanical work on school buses and other district vehicles
 

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in lieu of education
Experience:
• Eight (8) years’ experience in the mechanical repair of diesel, gasoline, alternative
fuel powered trucks, school buses and automobiles
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.:
• Advanced knowledge in diverse fleet maintenance and repair, positive attitude, strong
self-initiative, desire for continuous improvement and be willing to work varied shifts, and/or work over when requested

• Must also possess or be willing to obtain the following: CDL Class A combination with
passenger endorsement, State of Oklahoma School Bus Driving Certificate, State of
Oklahoma Alternative Fuels CNG Technician Certificate, ASE School Bus Technician
Certification, Basic tools required to perform duties
• Able and willing to learn Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
