Shamong Manufacturing is an AS9100-certified precision metal fabrication shop supplying the defense, aerospace, medical, electronics, and photonics industries. We’re a hands-on operation where you’ll see the full path from customer quote to finished part.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work alongside the sales and operations team to support our production process:
- Quoting & estimating – assist estimating with quoting costs, review drawings and specs, and assemble for
- Pre-production – assist pre-production team with routers/work orders, purchasing, etc
- Production planning– assist the production team with monitoring job status
- Quality Control- Help oversee and maintain quality control procedures and processes
- Manufacturing/Business Projects– Help establish additional operations, business development, business automation, etc
What We’re Looking For
- Local student looking for a part-time/full-time internship from now until the start of the fall semester or until December
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain, or an Engineering discipline
- Technically knowledgeable/mechanically inclined
- Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
- Interest in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain as a career path
- Reliable transportation to Shamong, NJ
