Camp Chateaugay – Adirondack Mountains, Upstate New York
Dates: June 10 – August 14, 2026 (includes pre-camp training)
Compensation: $16 per hour – 40-42 hours a week for 9-10 weeks.
It includes all room & board & meals, accommodation, laundry and travel when at camp and pick up and drop off
About Camp Chateaugay
Camp Chateaugay is a premier co-ed sleepaway camp for children ages 7–17, located in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive, energetic, and inspiring environment where campers grow, build confidence, and create lifelong memories.
We are seeking an a support staff member who has experience in restuarents or front of house in the food or house keeping industires. The role will be supporting the camp kitchen team with meal preparation, food service, dish washing cleanliness, and daily kitchen operations while helping provide meals for campers and staff throughout the summer. As well as supporting the housekeeping / cleaning / laundry team when needed also. We are looking for someone that has a strong sense of kitchen safety, organization, hygiene, and proper use of cooking equipment. As well as understand cooking techniques, recipe-following, and understanding flavors and ingredients and a dapt recipes to accommodate dietary needs and allergies
