JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Jr. Recruiter in Flint, MI. The Jr. Recruiter is responsible for working directly with the branch team to support client hiring needs. You will be a liaison for helping job seekers find their next career.

Responsibilities of an Jr. Recruiter:

  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, social media, job boards, and other internet sites.
  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, using various means, such as social media and job sites.
  • Answers incoming calls for branch.
  • Contacts potential applicants through various means, including phone, text, email, social media, or job boarding messaging
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Works with manager to send candidates to ideal job.
  • Completes new hire orientations and employee onboarding
  • Meets weekly KPI targets.
  • Follows up and responds to employee requests as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be proficient with telephone usage and etiquette
  • Must be proficient with computer systems, most notably Microsoft systems such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • 3-6 Months prior recruitment, human resources, and/or staffing industry experience preferred, but not required
  • Willing to train the right individual
  • Must have above average communications skills
  • Must be comfortable working with people in both private and group settings
  • Must have competitive drive
  • Must support diversity
  • Teamwork is absolutely essential, must be comfortable performing with a team in a positive and organized manner
  • Must be able to travel when needed to client sites around Genesee County.
