IT Leadership Position (Intern)

About the Role

We are looking for an IT Leadership Intern to help lead technology projects and support teams across AI & Automation, Cybersecurity, Analytics, Application Development, and Web Development.

This role combines technical understanding, project management, problem-solving, and team leadership. You will work with team members across different technical areas to plan projects, track progress, resolve blockers, and deliver technology solutions.

Internship Details

  • Unpaid
  • 20 hrs/week, 6 month program
  • Fully remote
  • OPT/CPT eligible

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate technical projects from planning through delivery;
  • Support teams with project planning, execution, testing, and deployment;
  • Track project progress, deadlines, and deliverables;
  • Identify and resolve technical or operational blockers;
  • Review technical work, applications, and project deliverables;
  • Support cybersecurity, compliance, and organizational technology requirements;
  • Use AI and automation tools to improve development and team productivity;
  • Communicate project updates and recommendations to leadership;
  • Lead team meetings, briefings, and technical discussions;
  • Support and guide team members across different technical skill sets,
  • Maintain clear project documentation and communication

Preferred Skills

  • Previous project or team leadership experience;
  • Understanding of SDLC and software development;
  • Experience with one or more programming languages;
  • Familiarity with AWS and Google Workspace;
  • Knowledge of AI/GenAI and AI development tools;
  • Understanding of testing, APIs, databases, or cloud technologies;
  • Awareness of cybersecurity and compliance;
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
