Position Description:

We are seeking an Intern to support the development and implementation of innovative programs for older adults living in the community. • Adhere to all Hospital policies, procedures, and professional standards, including confidentiality, privacy, and dress code requirements.

Required qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable and confident communicating with professionals and community partners via telephone and email.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and perform precise data entry.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Reliable, accountable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow through on assignments.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to effectively interact with program participants, community partners, and facilitators.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

What we are looking for:

This internship requires an individual who is proactive, dependable, and committed to producing high-quality work. Because our programs directly support older adults in the community, accuracy, professionalism, and consistent follow-through are essential. Interns will be expected to take ownership of assigned responsibilities, communicate effectively, and uphold the standards and values of the organization at all times.
