As a Home Visitor at Cardinal McCloskey Community Services, you will play a vital role in supporting families through weekly home visits that promote secure parent-child relationships and high-quality early learning experiences. This position is ideal for someone who is nurturing, culturally responsive, and passionate about empowering families as their child’s first and most important educator.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly home visits to families focused on early childhood development
  • Promote learning in language, literacy, math, science, social-emotional skills, and creative arts
  • Build respectful, trusting relationships with families
  • Collaborate with parents to plan home visits and learning experiences
  • Implement curriculum aligned with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework
  • Support children with disabilities and dual language learners
  • Empower parents as primary educators of their children

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a CDA 
  • AA or BA in Early Childhood, Human Services, or Psychology (with EC credits) preferred
  • Experience in Early Childhood Education, prenatal care, home visiting, or community health
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Must be able to work on-site in the Bronx (no remote option)
