Do you have a passion for history, nature, and providing exceptional service? Fort McAllister is seeking an enthusiastic Clerk (Guest Relations) to join our team. Nestled along the banks of the Ogeechee River, our historic site, museum, and campground offer a unique blend of rich history and natural beauty.
Our front desk clerks are often the face of our Visitor Center, ensuring that every visitor’s experience is memorable. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including:
Welcoming Visitors: Greet guests as they arrive, providing them with information about the fort, museum exhibits, and park amenities. Assist campers from around the globe, helping them with check-in, site information, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Retail: Assist in the gift shop, helping visitors find the perfect souvenir to remember their visit.
Ensure the Visitor Center area remains a clean and welcoming for all guests.
This position is up to 29 hours per week, including alternating weekends.
