Job Description
MayTech Global Investments is seeking an Equity Research Intern to work directly with our investment team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in buy-side equity research, financial modeling, and fundamental analysis while contributing to real investment decisions across global equity markets.
We are looking for a quick learner, an effective communicator, and someone who is naturally curious with a passion for investing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth industry and company research.
- Build and maintain financial models and perform valuation analyses.
- Write research reports that include industry overviews, company analysis, competitive positioning, investment theses, and valuation.
- Monitor and analyze company news, earnings releases, and industry developments.
- Gather information from SEC filings, industry reports, sell-side research, investment conferences, company management meetings, and industry experts.
- Prepare reports and presentations for portfolio managers and participate in investment discussions.
Qualifications
- Rising senior graduating in 2027 or earlier pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Previous internship experience in finance or a related field preferred.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to think critically, independently, and with intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to take on new challenges.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated passion for investing and the financial markets.
