Graduate Program Fellow (Part-Time, 10 Hours/Week)

About the Position
Vital Village Networks is seeking an advanced graduate student to join our team as a Graduate Program Fellow. This position offers hands-on experience supporting community-based initiatives that promote early childhood mental health, trauma-informed systems, and child wellbeing.
Working closely with the STRIVE team, the Fellow will assist with program coordination, training, research, communications, and community engagement while gaining valuable experience in nonprofit leadership and public health practice.
Responsibilities
Support coordination of STRIVE and related early childhood initiatives.
Assist with planning trainings, webinars, and learning events.
Develop and update presentations, educational materials, and program resources.
Coordinate meetings, maintain project timelines, and communicate with community partners.
Support program evaluation through data collection, literature reviews, and reporting.
Contribute to grant proposals, reports, presentations, and other written products as opportunities arise.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program in Social Work, Public Health, Education, Psychology, Child Development, Public Policy, or a related field.
Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.
Interest in early childhood, mental health, community engagement, health equity, or systems change.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Fellows will have opportunities to contribute to statewide and national initiatives and may participate in conference presentations, publications, and grant development.
This position is approximately 10 hours per week with a flexible schedule that accommodates academic commitments. Some meetings are held during weekday business hours.
