Position Snapshot   

In this role, you will support PortaCourts’ expanding presence across events, social media, and community outreach. You’ll get a front row seat to our strategy to grow our business while bringing fresh energy, creativity, and new ideas. Your work will span outreach, social media collaboration, and hands‑on support for event and court setup—playing a key part in growing our visibility and engagement.

About You   

You are a marketing, communications, or business student who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment. Organized, communicative, and eager to learn, you’re comfortable supporting social media efforts, outreach tasks, and on‑site event activities. You bring a positive attitude, a willingness to jump in wherever needed, and a fresh perspective that helps elevate our content and community presence.

How You Will Make a Difference

Outreach & Communication

  • Assist with outreach to events, venues, and contacts using existing lists
  • Support communication efforts that help expand our network and visibility

Social Media & Content Support

  • Collaborate on social media posts and content ideas
  • Provide creative input and help bring new perspectives to our online presence

Events & Court Setup

  • Help set up courts for events, demos, and community activities
  • Support event operations, including running the PortaCourts table and engaging with attendees

Creative Input & Fresh Ideas

  • Contribute new ideas for content, outreach, and community engagement
  • Offer insights that help refine and elevate our brand voice and presence

Knowledge & Skills

  • Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with social media platforms and outreach tasks
  • Willingness to participate in hands‑on event days
  • Creative mindset with an interest in community engagement
