What You’ll Do: 

  • Prepare and serve a variety of meals for patients, residents, cafeteria guests, and catering needs
  • Review menus and ensure food is prepared daily that maintains food quality, appearance, and portion standards. 
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature guidelines
  • Keep kitchen, cooking, and dishwashing areas clean and organized
  • Properly store, label, and date food items
  • Deliver patient trays and nourishment items on time
  • Monitor and record refrigerator and dish machine temperatures
  • Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, trays, and utensils correctly
  • Assist with inventory and communicate supply needs to leadership
  • Support patient satisfaction through teamwork, communication, compassion, and service exellence

What We Are Looking For: 

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience

  • Two years of restaurant or institutional food service experience preferred

Additional Skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong focus on cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Dependable with a strong commitment to customer service and patient satisfaction
  • Maintain reliable attendance
