DELIVERY DEPARTMENT MANAGER
CDL LICENCE REQUIRED

Fusco Personnel is seeking a Delivery Department Manager to oversee all aspects of the delivery department. This position is responsible for managing personnel, fleet operations, safety programs, budgets, compliance, and daily logistics to ensure outstanding customer service and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the delivery team through training, performance management, and regular communication.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards, including driver and equipment certifications.
- Oversee daily delivery operations, including driver scheduling, dispatch, route reconciliation, and operational reporting.
- Manage the delivery fleet, including maintenance, inspections, vehicle cleanliness, and accident reporting.
- Monitor departmental budgets, control operating expenses, and achieve financial performance goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer service, and delivery performance.
Qualifications
- Leadership experience in transportation, distribution, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, OSHA requirements, and fleet safety practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing budgets, expenses, and operational performance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and fleet or transportation management systems.
- CDL experience and experience supervising and training CDL drivers.
SALARY
$75-90k + bonus objectives =20% of salary.
