The role of a Commercial Strategy & Insights Trainee is to learn.  Upon successful participation of our Internship program you will be eligible to interview for a full-time role within our Commercial business – should no immediate role be identified and you are in good standing through the program, the Trainee may remain in a training position until a qualified role is available. 

BUSINESS ACCUMEN 

As a Trainee you will play a key role in providing insights and data to our Field Sales and Marketing teams as part of our ongoing strategy to put Flavor First.  You will support the analyzing of point-of-sale scan and consumer panel data across markets and retailers.  This role will support the development of fact-based data presentations and reports that lead to better assortment and merchandising decisions in the field.

CORE LEARNINGS

  • Produce routine reports and trackers to assist Field Sales teams program execution
  • Educate sales on data report details on an ad-hoc basis
  • Develop reports and tools that improve the use of data across the Sales and Marketing organizations
  • Seek continuous improvement and new ideas for delivering insights to the organization
  • Curate compelling visual presentations that tell stories with data
  • Deliver consistent insights to sales group members in support of key retailers
  • Utilize shopper panel data to provide flavor consumer insights to internal and external stakeholders

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of internship
  • Must commit to the full 10-week program starting June 2027
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university
    • Marketing and/or Business major a plus

WHERE WILL I WORK?

Flexibility and willingness to relocate to our HQ in Chicago, IL or one of our designated field locations/markets – dependent on business needs.  RELOCATION FOR SUBSEQUENT ROLES IS CRITICALL FOR PROGRESSION WITHIN OUR ORGANIZATION.
